The Alva Fire Control & Rescue Service District will be collecting backpacks and school supplies for The Alva School grades K-8. As current day-to-day costs have increased, this greatly affects the availability of miscellaneous funds for many families. We will collect all donated items and will distribute to the Alva School who will then prioritize to those most in need.
Keep in mind that the State of Florida’s Back-to-School Sales Tax holiday will run from July 25th – August 7th. The following items can be dropped off at the District’s Administrative Office, 2660 Styles Road, Alva, Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, on or before August 8, 2022.
